Focus Areas

Scholarship of Making is organised around six interconnected areas of inquiry that explore how we belong, resist, know, make, archive, and relate to land. These focus areas guide the cohort's research, fieldwork, and studio practices throughout the program.

Through critical readings, situated investigations, and experiments in making, participants develop projects that question dominant ways of seeing while engaging with alternative forms of knowledge, memory, and practice.
